Which fruit is better for you?

i know all fruit is good for you. i was wondering which fruit has the most vitamins, etc. for a healthy diet? plum, blueberry, white peach, apple, and pineapple.

BLUEBERRIES ARE GREAT ANTIOXIDANTS. ANYTHING LIKE GRAPES AND BERRIES HAVE A LOT OF ANTIOXXIDANT PROPERTIES. Which mean your body and skin will stay healthy longer.



All the yellow fruits, apple, pineapple, peach have lots of vitamin A and C but the fruit that was shown to have more vitamin c than oranges is KIWI. Proven to have the vit c of many oranges and other. Its messy to peel but its delicious I think. Sliced in 1/4 inches makes it palatable.



Mango (mango manila) is the best of the yellow fruits. Loads of vitamin a, sweet and very meaty. If you are tired waking up eat a mango for breakfast and youwill be ready in minutes to be pepped up.



Papaya! From Mexican to Hawaiian Papaya its the best for stomach aches, constipation and regulating a erpson's bowel movements.

Loads of vitamins in this one too.



I grew up in different countries, and here in America we do not get all the fruits available in other countries that are absolutely beneficial for the body and health.

There ar so many more fruits but I will stick to these that you can get in the USA.



I will give you a tip on a different tone, coffee has been found to have a lot of vitamin c and much antioxidant properties. Remember coffee beans come from a tree too, just like fruits can. They are a "fruit" before they are picked and dried and roasted and grounded.



Just so you know that a cup of coffee is also good for the body. Not decafeinated but regular ground coffee. I even buy my own from a Nordic store online and the flavor is so good.



I have mango in the morning, coffee, toast, cheese and lots of enzymes and special vitamins for I have to be on a diet with medications bc i dont digest at all. I have a medical problem and fruit has been my savior when I cannot eat much at all. Im allergic to it, is one way to see it.

I can get very ill , even have had many pancreatitis over food eating.



People should really start packing up more on fruit than on junk and they would see a change in their health , for the better.



I will give you a recipe for a real thirst quencher for hot days:

AGUA DE MELON

Cantaloupe water



Scrape all the seeds out of a sweet ripe non green cantaloupe. The meat should be pink and sweet for the seeds to be sweet. Now in a blender mix the seeds and water about 2 liters of water if not more and spon in enough sugar to taste. Blend at high speed until all the seeds are a poweder and your drink looks like a pinkish white drink. It s the most refreshing and healthy drink you can have. And you are then not wasting any part but the peel of a cantaloupe.

In this drink you do not use any of the fruit's meat, but only the seeds. Thats how Mexican Horchata is made (of rice), so its a similar type of Horchata



I have an extensive background on foods to heal because I use them for such. some people do take some practice to learn the flavor and then they crave it. But I do whats good for my body. I take fruits anytime over junk food even sodas.

Reply:i would have to say pineapple...yes, it's acidic, but it's a tropical fruit and they're the ones that are multi-vitamin...you can get so many different vitamins from tropical fruits...

Reply:hmm well from what Ive learned oranges burn fat, red apples are healthy but do have those calories and sour apples work your metabolism.
