Does fruit need to be processed and graded by the FDA?

I was wondering what the process was for selling fruit lets say at a grocery store for example.

and more specifically as a fruit juice, would I have to go through fda procedures? I'm wondering if the idea of the xango mangosteen drink should be having so many problems with the fda? Is it just because they say its healthy and can help you with health issues? If thats why how come oatmeal and other foods can claim they are healthy for you?

Certainly not here in Korea. There are fruit vendors along the road and at the open air market and there is basically no regulation on any of it. If if is for export, or processed, then yes, it probably must meet federal regulations.
Reply:Nope!
