Are fruit salad trees for real?
Such trees exist, but only certain kinds of trees can be grafted to each other. Oranges and lemons, for example, can be grafted in this fasion, but not apples and oranges. They require special care.

So yea it is possible but the trees have to be closely related. If ur willing to spend the time to care for the tree why not buy it.
Reply:You can do that since they just graft the appropriate branches on to a base root system,. They just probably won't all ripen at the same time.
Reply:you can grow different fruits on one tree but you can't have them all in a bowl chopped growing off branches
