A couple summers ago I found this tree that had a bunch of strawberry sized orange-yellow-red fruits growing on it I in my curiosity ate one and it had really mushy flesh and tasted reminiscent of peaches. I'm wondering if anybody can tell me what this fruit was? p.s. If I'm not giving enough information just ask and I'll add details

Reply:Maybe its hawthorn fruit. They are usually reddish but may appear yellowish or orange. They do taste somewhtat like peaches and their flesh is a little mushy. They also ripen in october. Check out the links below.
Reply:They could have been apricots... I'm not sure. Look it up on Google to see a picture. Could you also give more information?
