Why is Fruit Of The Loom not sold at Kohl's, Mervyn's, Sears, Macy's, Gottchalk's?

The brand is as old as Hanes and Jockey. Why is Fruit Of The Loom only sold at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target?

Is it because the brand is older than the rest or what? Fruit of the loom has been around since the late 1800's. Hanes and Jockey have been around since the early 1900's.

Why is Fruit Of The Loom not sold at Kohl's, Mervyn's, Sears, Macy's, Gottchalk's?
It's based on the perceived quality of the name, not how long they've been around. Joe Boxer used to be at Macy's, but they let the quality slip and now it's at K-Mart. High end department stores don't want to carry the exact same things that you can buy at Wal-Mart.

I don't see Hanes at Macy's. I see Hanes at Target.
