All Fruit Diet?

If I wake up and dont eat enything but fruit until 12 then nothing but fruit after 8 pm. But also am doing excercise on a treadmill and stuff. Will this work and how long until I see results?

All Fruit Diet?
Eat more vegetables than fruit. All that fruit will make you go to the bathroom.
Reply:It doesn't sound healthy to continue for any period of time other than maybe a day to 2 to clean out your system. You will lack many important nutrients and vitamins if you stay on this for more than a few days. I think the main thing you might see from it is dropping water weight.
Reply:Fruit are mostly a mix of simple and complex carbs...
Reply:An all fruit diet is not healthy... If you are only eating regular foods for 8 hours you are missing a big part of the health pyramid. If you really want to loose weight have about 6-8 small meals a day. You can eat fruit in the morning and at night but you also need to mix in grains, meats, cheese, dairy; a little bit of everything. I know you want results fast, I completely understand, we all do; but if you truly want to loose weight for forever and not just a couple of weeks you need to change your lifestyle permanently. Also, if you want fast results the best way to loose fat and tone your body is to lift weights. Walking only does half the amount of change as lifting. If you really don't want to lift try an areobics class because that will help tone your whole body... If you tone your body but there is excess weight on top of it, no one will ever see your curves. Also, you can't target one area... If you want a tiny tummy you need to first loose fat on your whole body. That's how the body works. Results won't be instant so don't get discouraged... you need to cut out 3,500 calories to loose just 1 pound, and its suppose to take a week to loose one.... Cut 500 calories everyday... so relax and don't give up if you don't see instant results.
Reply:Fruit for breakfast is fine as long as you eat a good lunch, Make sure you have your protein and a good helping of vegetables to get your iron and trace minerals.

Try putting some soft tofu (tofu is high in protein and essentially tasteless) in a blender with your fruit and add a bit of juice and ice and maybe some of that Benefiber for breakfast...that will give you your protein and bulk fiber.

Nibble on carrots and celery and strips of bell pepper for snacking through the day and then do your fruit at night. It sounds like you are on a good path but make sure you have a solid plan to include a bit of all kinds of veggies so you get a wide variety of nutrients. You could also take a good one-a-day supplement to be sure. You should start seeing good results in a couple of weeks. As long as you are sensible about it.

Hint: raw veggies provide fewer calories than it takes to digest them. so they help keep you full and assist in the weight loss. Good luck.
