Is this fruit fermented? Is it safe to eat?

About 2 weeks ago, I made a huge fruit salad. Watermelon, peaches, strawberries, honeydews, cherries, pineapples. There is a little left that I tasted the other night. I has a kind of kick to it now.It even smells a little like alcohol and has bubbles in it. Is this what's called fermented fruit and is it safe to eat?

I wouldn't eat anything that has been leftover in the refridge for two weeks.
Reply:Thanks for all the responses;

For the record, I did eat some and it didn't so much as give me an upset stomach. I know nothing about fermenting food, so this happened purely by chance and I wouldn't do it again. Report It
Reply:I discovered, it's perfectly safe to eat fermented food as long as you follow the guidelines. So, don't try this at home unless you are following them. Report It
Reply:It is fermented-it won't hurt you but it won't taste good. Leave it a little longer and you'll have wine :)
Reply:Yes it's fermented...don't eat it.
Reply:Yes it is fermenting. Throw it away!
Reply:sure go ahead and enjoy it, the worst that can happen to you is you might get a little drunk and maybe the shi ts, but one thing for sure it will clean you out.
Reply:yes it is fermenting i would throw it away or try to put it in the blender to make an alcoholic drink
