Are fruit flies harmful???

you know, those tiny flies that fly around rotten vegetables or garbage. are they harmful as regular nasty flies ( magot flies), because i know regular flies lays magots on where they land, how about fruit flies.

what about flies that grew in the old milk jug that's been sitting in the corner for a few days? they're about twice as big as fruit flies. are they harmful? i mean would these creatures cause bad health or whatsoever?

i don't appreciate short surcastic answers that's just trying to earn points. please, let's not waste our time.

They are harmless...here iS a way to get rid of them:



construct a trap by placing a paper funnel (rolled from a sheet of notebook paper) into a jar which is then baited with a few ounces of cider vinegar. Place the jar trap(s) wherever fruit flies are seen. This simple but effective trap will soon catch any remaining adult flies which can then be killed or released outdoors

Reply:I use 1 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 tbsp of dish detergent. The vinegar attracts them and the soap drowns them. We had it really bad at work last year and it worked wonders. I use it at home too. Report It
