Has anyone ever brought fruit online?

And when you find out that it's all bad what did you do about it? I sent a basket of fruit for my Mother on Mothers day from this online company in London. The fruit was all rotten and only thing she had from it was the grapes. The are refusing to compensate.. cost me over ￡33 as well. For one bunch of grapes. What can I do? My Mother is very frail and is crippled with arthritis and she couldn't open the box it came in. My brother opened it the following day (Mother's day) for her. She tried the Fruit on the following Monday.. two days after receiving it and most of it except the grapes were bad.

Contact the company again. Tell them that you would like a refund, or for them to resend a new fruit basket. If they still say no, then tell them you are going to take the matter up with whatever consumer agency (it is Better Business Bureau here in America) to get a resolution. Also, let them know that you have lots of friends, family %26amp; co-workers who were shocked and disappointed to hear that they gave a customer: bad fruit, bad service. Keep after them.

Maybe next time you could try buying from another online place but first check up and read about it before this happens again!

Reply:That is too bad. I have made only good experience with ordering fruit or food baskets. I am surprised the company did not reimburse you somehow. Even though your Mom tried to eat the fruit 2 days after recieving the basket it still should have been good.
Reply:Next time try ordering from a place that is in the same town as your mother. You may have to pay a little for the long distance call, but it'll be fresher.
