What is this fruit?

On the Kashi food commercial a man is on a tree and tosses down a pink fruit. The man opens the fruit and the inside is white and is seeded.

Any idea what this fruit is?

What is this fruit?
It's the dragon fruit. It looks like Kiwi inside but has a very plain taste. You cut it in half and use a spoon to eat.
