Was the fruit that Eve ate really an apple?

I haven't been able to come across decent claims that the fruit that Eve ate was really an apple, or any specific fruit for that matter. Has anyone ever come across anything that mentioned the specific fruit?

Bananas are herbs, they come from rather large bushes, not trees.
Reply:To be honest I don't believe it was an apple .I think it was more on the line of a fig or something. I believe the idea of it being an apple actually came from an artist idea of what it was .There is no actual mention of the exact fruit in the Bible so some took a guess at what they thought it could be and people just spreaded it around until the entire world had just left it an Apple .

Reply:It was not an apple, or a literal fruit for that matter. It was symbolic of sex with the devil (the serpent). Why did they cover their nakedness? Lesson in Hebrew: Genesis chapter 4 verse 1-2. The word "again" in the second is translated "continued" meaning Cain and Able were twins. Did you know Cain is not mentioned in Adams genealogy? That's because he is the son of Satan. Jesus would also teach that if you don't know what happened in the garden you wouldn't understand any of his parables, or most of the bible for that matter.
Reply:in my opinion - its a fruit we've never seen/heard of - i don't think adam and eve would want to touch that fruit again after how much pain it caused them/us . besides that and the tree of life (that was guarded after they sinned), i think every other fruit/veggie was ok to eat - and thats where we have our modern fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, cherries, etc
Reply:No. It was just a 'fruit'. that particular tree doesn't exist anymore. it's like asking a Canadian if they've ever seen a kiwi tree. Probably not.

The fruit of knowledge is not one of the fruits that would be outside of eden.
Reply:consider how much vegetation has changed over the last thousand years. Now compound that by many thousands of years. do you really think apples existed that far back?
Reply:We do not know, because the Bible does not tell us very clearly it just says she ate the fruit off of the forbidden tree.

The Tree of Life is Christ; the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is Satan himself. People often wondered why God would plant such a tempting tree in the Garden if they couldn't eat its fruit. Well, this particular tree traveled to the Garden of its own accord - God certainly did not plant it there.

The word "tree" in the manuscripts denotes an opening and a closing of the eye; it also denotes a spinal cord - meaning

its an entity.

Now as for as the sin itself, let me ask you this: After they sinned, they tied fig leaves together to make what? Was it a mask to hide their mouths because they ate fruit? No, it was

aprons to cover their private parts - those parts that participated in the sin they were so ashamed of.

God was extremely angry about the sin, and it amazes me that folks would actually think their God is so trivial that he

would be so livid about eating fruit. Anyway, God told Eve that as a consequence to her sin, He would multiply her

CONCEPTION. What??? How did fruit do that????

Satan "beguiled" Eve, which means to "wholly seduce".



In any case, God DID multiply Eve's conception - by two, exactly: Eve was pregnant with twins. One pregnancy of two separate conceptions: Abel was Adams son, but Cain was not. Sound like some weird cult I must belong to?? Hardly.

This comes directly from your Bible, well, actually the original manuscripts of your King James Bible.

Go to Gen5, where you will find the complete geneology of Adam: you won't find Cain listed in it, because Cain was NOT Adams son. Likewise, go to Gen4, and read the complete geneology of Cain - you won't find Adam listed in it, because Adam was NOT Cain's father.



Cain and Abel were twins of separate fathers. Jesus Christ will tell you in Matthew 13:36 who he was who planted that

wicked seed, in case you haven't quessed by now.



If you check it out in the manuscripts, you'll find that when

the Bible states Eve bare Cain and then AGAIN bare his brother Abel, that word "Again" is actually "continued in labor". When you have a baby and then your labor continues and you have a second baby, what does that mean? TWINS.

This is why you read that the two half-brothers both took their offerings to God at the exact same time - because they reached the age of accountability at the exact same time:

TWINS.



Cain was eventually thrown out of the Garden and went to

the City of Nod where the sixth day creation of many races

had settled, and he married a woman. He had lots of decendants called "Kenites" in the Bible. When Cain was

thrown out, remember that God placed a mark on him?

Ever hear of the "mark of the beast"? Well, this is its first

appearance, when its placed right on Cain - the mark of his

own father, Satan.

These Kenites even made it thru the flood of Noah, and you will find them alive and well in 1chronicles 2:55, doing scribe-work for the Tribe of Judah. They mixed in and around Judea filling positions of power - they became judges, lawyers,

scribes, and yes, even Priests. Jesus Christ would later

accuse one of them at the Temple saying "you are of your father the devil, and the deeds you will do, he was a MURDERER from the beginning - who was the first murderer? Cain, of Course. These Kenites are those who would yell "crucify him!", not those Jews that are blamed for

it constantly.

There are two ways you can legally be a "jew", which is just a shortened form for "tribe of judah": One, you could be born into the tribe of Judah as Christ was, OR you can live in the geographical location of Judea - BINGO; thats what they did,

and were jews ONLY by residency, not by bloodline.



Go to Rev 1 where God sends a message to each of seven churches; out of the 7, only TWO were approved of by God, and both those two approved churches taught the exact same thing: "who are they who say they are jews but are NOT and do LIE and are the synagogue of Satan?".

Well, theres your answer: It would be the Kenites, Satans

own children.





I wrote all of this so I can show you why God was so

unhappy with this sin: do you see that Eve nearly allowed

the line of lineage, that thru her and down the generations, womb-to-womb, was to come the Christ child?

If Satan could pollute that line of lineage with his own seed

(yes, the manuscripts say seed, sperma) then Christ could not have come thru it, except Satan be a part of it.

Thats a pretty damn serious sin, and thats the deal with

Adam and Eve in the Garden.
