A good tree bears good fruit?

The leading proponents of many evil and harmful philosophies and practices have based their beliefs squarely on evolution.

German mass murderer Adolf Hitler was influenced by erroneous ideas of evolution.

Just because someone believes in evolution doesn't make them a bad person. But it's amazing that so many evil practices and harmful philosophies have come from belief in evolution.

The Bible quotes Jesus Christ as saying: “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit” (Matthew 7:18).

The late scientist and Bible scholar Dr. Henry Morris said that by Christ's test the evolution “tree” is certainly corrupt, because its “fruit” has been uniformly evil.

Dr. Morris published the following list of “evolutionist fruits” in the Defender's Study Bible, for which he wrote the commentary.

Harmful philosophies based on evolution

1. Communism

2. Nazism

3. Racism

4. Imperialism

5. Atheism

6. Humanism

7. Materialism

8. Amoralism

9. Scientism

10. Pantheism

11. Monopolism

12. Anarchism

13. Occultism

14. Social Darwinism

15. Behaviorism

16. Freudianism

Evil practices based on evolution

1. abortion

2. drug culture

3. promiscuity

4. eugenics

5. pornography

6. genocide

7. chauvinism

8. New-Agism

9. euthanasia

10. pollution

11. bestiality

12. Satanism

13. homosexuality

14. criminality

15. cannibalism

16. witchcraft

A good tree bears good fruit?
although i applaude your research...whats the question?
Reply:And yet all modern biology and drug research is based upon evolution theory. Funny that.

Wait, what the hell? None of the items on either lists have anything to do with evolution.

Oh wait, this is the Henry Morris who Ph.D is in hydraulic engineering, not even remotely related to biology, and can be quoted to saying "When science and the Bible differ, science has obviously misinterpreted its data." Yep, that's a reliable source. *nods* :)
Reply:Consider that theories of evolution were uncommon before the late 18th century, and the theory of natural selection was introduced in the mid 19th century.

This isn't an exhaustive list but shows how many entries are completely and utterly unrelated:

Philosophies:

1, 5, 6, 7, 10 %26amp; 13 were common from ancient times and 1 (communism) was widespread among the first Christians; read the book of Acts.

12 (anarchism) was based on ancient ideas, some of them also practiced by the first Christians, but the movement derives from the early-mid 19th century.

14 was early-mid 19th century. Darwin quotes Spencer fairly often.

3 %26amp; 4 were implicit in the colonial empires from the 15th century on.

Practices:

1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 [not that there's anything wrong with that], 14, 15 %26amp; 16 are all attested from ancient times. Sure, people have discovered new drugs, created new pollutants, etc. but that's another story.

Eugenics is the only one that really seems to derive from evolution. It has been tainted by racism, and it's easy to condemn the form that has been so tainted, but it's harder to judge a form which is free from racism.
Reply:let me just ask you.. how does..

promiscuilty, porn, satanism, homosexuality, witchcraft, cannibalism and pretty much every single thing on that list have to do with evolution?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! all evolution is, is just stating how we had common ancestors, we adapt and so on. that is just alot of bull s***

let me guess this "scientist" is a Christian huh?
Reply:If you actually understood anything about what you just wrote, you would not have written it. Most of those philosophies and "evil practices" existed long before evolution was conceived and the rest are completely unrelated.

Edit:

For example, genocide was first practiced by your god in the Flood and later when giving the Holy Land to the Hebrews. Witchcraft was mentioned in the Bible, as in kill them, and cannibalism has been around for thousands of years in various cultures that had never heard of evolution. Racism was rampant before Darwin as was imperilsm.
Reply:Adolf Hitler endorsed Creationism in Mein Kampf.

Reply:.Do you really believe what you wrote? I might have some response to a couple of the items on your list ,but really give your head a shake. Your over sized list only makes you look foolish; and further more how dare you say a movement like the Pantheist's are evil. Shame on you.
