Are fruit fly larvae harmful to health if injested?

This morning, I had a slice of homemade banana bread. About nine hours later, the loaf was covered in black marks, which I assumed to be fruit fly larvae. This made me realize that I may have consumed fruit fly larvae or eggs. Is my health in danger, or should I see a doctor?

Are fruit fly larvae harmful to health if injested?
not really. I think you will be okay. Maybe this might help,,

The best way to avoid problems with fruit flies is to eliminate sources of attraction. Produce that has ripened should be eaten, discarded or refrigerated. Cracked or damaged portions should be cut away and thrown away in the event that eggs or larvae are present in the wounded area. A single rotting potato or onion forgotten at the back of a closet, or fruit juice spilled under a refrigerator can breed thousands of fruit flies. yuck!

Hope this helped.

GOD BLESS!
