Fruit flies were on my oranges, I bought them a few days ago and they look okay, are they okay to eat or have the fruit flies made some sort of nasty nest out of them?
Fruit flies on my oranges?
Wash your oranges and put the oranges in the refrigerator.
The flies are only landing on the surface of the orange. You don't eat the skin do you?
Is there a moldy orange hidden in amongst your oranges or an old banana?
Reply:Wash all fruit even if they have a peel. When you peel fruit, you touch the inside and the outside.
Even if you hadn't seen the fruit flies, there could be flies on the fruit in the store. You would never eat fruit or vegetables again.
WASH THE FRUIT AND ENJOY.
Reply:don't take a chance, just throw it away
