Fruit salad recipe? The one I'm looking for is 100% fruit, no cool whip or marshmellows.?

I've had it twice, once as a kid, then again last year after my granny funeral. Don't know who made it so can't get the recipe there. It had just about every fruit there is in it in juice. Not sure if teh juice is added or natural. Hope you can help!

Well if it was just about every friut, just buy some of every friut. Wash chop and mix together. Add either some water, lemon juice and sugar to taste for the juice, or pour over some fizzy lemonade. Hey presto!
Reply:My Mum uses orange juice as the liquid for her fruit salads and then uses various fruits, apples, pears, grapes, strawberries, kiwi fruit, oranges and anything else she can get her hands on. It's always lovely and you can vary the quantities of any one fruit when it's in or out of season. You can also use a different juice for the base, pineapple would be nice.
Reply:there is sugar in this but u don't need to add it

Reply:probably natural. Heres the recipe:

go to the store and buy a bunch of fruit and cut it up and put it in a bowl
Reply:just cut up the fruit and add juice, pineapple, apple, cherry, whatever. Or they may have cut the fruit up and added sugar and let sit overnight. We make strawberries like that and the sugar causes the fruit to juice! Good Luck!

Add one large can pineapple chuncks

Reply:FYI - if it's got cool whip or marshmellows.. it's not fruit salad.

just pick out some nice fruits (melons, apples, pineapple, naval oranges, grapes (seedless green and red), grapefruit (red is really nice, or pink), strawberries, etc. Wash, and cut up into a big bowl that you can cover... even if it's covering with plastic wrap.

If you can, pick up some orange liquere (Cura?ao, Grand Marnier, Cointreau) and put a little in the salad. If not, add a little pineapple juice, or orange juice or both. Mix and cover well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. If you like you can toss in a little sugar if you like it sweeter. As for the natural juices, adding the juices as I suggested is an option. See how it looks without it for about an hour. Then if you still think it needs some liquid, add some or both of the juices.
Reply:You add about 2-3 cups of yogurt. Cherry, blueberry...whatever. Then all the fruits you want.
Reply:hi there,

cut your fruits, add sugar stir, keep cool and let sit, 30 min. add some balsamic vinegar and serve,

or add a shot of sherry and a fruit liquor, sugar fruits first,

or add apple cider

enjoy
