Fruit Calories?

I'm on the Special K Diet and I like to keep track of the calories I'm consuming. Fruit and Veggies is an acceptable anytime snack or addition to a meal, but where can I find out how many calories are in fruits? I usually eat small tangerines, banannas and apples. Thanks %26lt;3

Fruit Calories?
Apples have about 80 calories, a medium banana=about 100 and small tangerines have about 37. try www.calorieking.com and type in whatever foods you are eating and enter the amount or whatever and it'll tell you how many calories are in them. Also, you can go to www.caloriecount.about.com/account and sign up for an account. It's totally free. I use it all the time and it's great. It helps you keep track of your diet and exercise plans and stuff.
Reply:Ok fruit is awesome for you, but it is not low calorie!

Fruit is sweet because of the sugar fructose. Berries and such have more. Riper fruits have more also.

Here is a calorie chart I found online. It is not an official source , but I looked at it and it seems fairly accurate.

I have taught nutrition.

Reply:Weight Watchers has a new scale out it's digital. All you have to do is type the first 2 letter of the fruit and or vegetable, and it will tell you the callories in it. The scale is 40.00, and if you don't have a weight watchers near you, you can go to bed bath and beyond they sell it also
