I don't like fruit but want to lose weight??? HELP!?

I'm not a big fruit person, I love veggies however. I dont like the texture of certain fruits i.e. apples. I find some fruit tp labourous to eat i.e oranges or dribbly things like peaches. You coukld call me an 'easy snacker!'

What could I do so I still get the fruit intake and/or vitamin c?

eat veggies then! they are healthy too. ya, take vitamins every so often to get the stuff you need from fruit. but you don't need to eat fruit to lose weight!
Reply:the thing is vitamins aren't absorbed properly. the best way to absorb vitamins is naturally through food but not pills. you should find a fruit you like and stick to it cause vitamins capsules/tablets etc aren't absorbed properly artificially.
Reply:You can take a vitamin supplement..... or try natural juices (like the ones at Trader Joe's)... without sugar added. Maybe you can buy a juicer that extracts the juices, separates the pulp and leaves you with natural juice...mmmmm.....
Reply:lol.K.When I changed my diet to lose weight I went to fruit(if it kept long enough),veggies,fat free,carb free,and then the water,juice.I did my homework.Anything that contained carb.,or was fattening,or processed sugar(you'd be supprised).I'm making progress.Sometimes one has to rethink things.Good luck.

Ps.Theres always pills.I take vitamins.

Reply:Green pappers have more vitamin C than an orange, believe it or not. potatoes also have vitamin C. you could put the fruits that you do like in a fruit compote and eat them with a spoon, then you would not have to worry about eating them and making a mess. tetxture is what is fun about our delicious food that GOD has given us for our enjoyment. you can feel them and make sure they are not so ripe that they are too juicy. that might help abit, Huh?

Apple juice, lemonade, grapejuice, Sunny D...ect.
