Fruit Flies!!?

I cant get rid of the Fruit Flies that are in my house. There is no fruit in my house. No left out food... no stagnant water... I cant spray any chemicals cause Im 19 weeks pregnant. What can I do?? They are driving me crazy!

place a jar with holes in the lid and about 1/2 inch of vinegar. (apple cider vinegar work best) they will enter and get trapped... change every few days

Put some fruit pieces or peelings in a jar, cover the opening with foil and hold it down with a rubber band. Poke a few small holes in the foil with a toothpick. They can find their way in but can't get out.

Reply:Another trick besides vinegar, is get a Rosemary Herb Plant. The fruit flies don't like the smell and will shortly disappear. As an added bonus, you have a wonderful herb handy for cooking.
Reply:Damp plants such as ivy can draw them into your house too.



Put a bowl of vinegar in each room.
Reply:I had this same problem not too long ago. The only thing I found that worked was to fill a tall glass halfway with apple cider vinegar and set it out in the main place where they are. It has to be a tall glass or it won't work. Good luck I know they are a pain.
Reply:You could use an electric fly swapper.An electric fly swapper is powered by 2 or 3 AA size batteries which generate an electric grid around it. When the fly makes contact with it, it gets an electric shock and dies instantaneously.
