Fruit Pizza?

I want to make a fruit pizza for an event and I'm a little short on money. Would it work to use frozen fruit so I dont' have to spend so much on fresh? Any tips or advice would be great. Thanks!

Fruit Pizza?
You could use a mix of fresh and frozen. Depends what fruits you are including. Frozen fruit should work too, depends which fruit you are looking at putting on the pizza. Be sure to thaw and let it drain so it doesn't make the crust too soggy.

Reply:fresh strawberries are the best.. sorry there is no way of getting around that. but just a fun tip: you can make small individual cookies for the fruit pizza instead of one big cookie for it
Reply:No, frozen fruit just doesn't work. Canned peaches, pears and mandarin oranges might work - then add some fresh kiwi and strawberries. Drain and pat the canned fruit well before putting on the filling.
Reply:i make a good fruit pizza cheap...

1 pkg sugar cookie mix

bake the cookie in a large pan as one whole cookie

mix cream cheese with frosting( ive used cream cheese frosting its good too)

thaw the fruit in a collander put the collander in a bowl with the fruit in the fridge and let it set then pat the fruit dry
