Fruit & Vegetable diet?

I know it's probably not very healthy, but obviously I am not because I am overweight, so it doesn't matter.... but I was wondering if I go on a fruit and veggie diet for about a month, will I lose alot of weight? I currently am eating 1500 calories a day and exericisng about 30-60 mins 5 times a week. I want faster results, and I have the will power. So how much will i lose? Just fruit and veggies.. and exercising still..

PLEASE no comments saying "oh its not healthy blah blah blah", clealy I know this..

Fruit %26amp; Vegetable diet?
Being a vegetarian is much healthier. How could you ever think that its not?

Its probably all those liars saying you need meat for iron and protein.

Also going vegetarian is great I did it but i have not lost much weight but I have been more active.
Reply:Im doing the same and yes its healthy as long as your eating...
Reply:The trouble with going on really strict diets is that even if your body does have extra fat to burn, it will soon figure out that it has very few calories coming in so it will become very stingy with its new "budget" and stop burning calories at the same rate it does when you're eating a normal 1500-calorie diet. This will prevent you from losing weight, and will be very hard on your liver and other organs, so it's kind of a lose-lose situation. I know that sometimes it seems ok to make a temporary sacrifice of health in order to get fast results, but in reality this will stop you from getting those results that you want. It's frustrating, but slow and steady is really the only way to do it. You could probably cut down to 1200 calories, but much less than that is too close to "starvation mode" to increase weight loss. I hope this makes sense. Sorry I can't give you better news... but this has all been researched and proven.
Reply:All I've ever eaten is Fruits, Veggies, Grains, and nuts - I expect to live longer and healthier than the norm for there are e more centurians among my people group than any other in the grand old USA.
