What fruit doesnt have seeds/pips?

A friend of mine is a fussy eater and wont eat fruit and vegetables with pips or seeds. Even if they can be removed or are tiny, she WONT eat them!

i was wondering if you could help me list some fruit names that dont have pips or seeds, because i know there must be something out there!!

thanks for your help :)

What fruit doesnt have seeds/pips?
By definition all fruit contain a seed of one form or another. The seed may be so small as to go unnoticed as in the case of banana's (the black bits down the centre of the fuit). The fruit is the appetising encasing designed to encourage animals to injest the seed for later defication thereby giving the seed a fertilised environment distant from the parent plant in which to grow. Vegetables are either the roots or flowers of various plants.

Although the banana's possess seeds the plant used for consumption is a sterile plant. Strawberries are also sterile and the seeds are on the outside of the fuir.
Reply:Seedless fruits

An arrangement of fruits commonly thought of as vegetables, including tomatoes and various squash. Seedlessness is an important feature of some fruits of commerce. Commercial cultivars of bananas and pineapples are examples of seedless fruits. Some cultivars of citrus fruits (especially navel oranges and mandarin oranges), table grapes, grapefruit, and watermelons are valued for their seedlessness. In some species, seedlessness is the result of parthenocarpy, where fruits set without fertilization. Parthenocarpic fruit set may or may not require pollination. Most seedless citrus fruits require a pollination stimulus; bananas and pineapples do not. Seedlessness in table grapes results from the abortion of the embryonic plant that is produced by fertilization, a phenomenon known as stenospermocarpy which requires normal pollination and fertilization.

EDIT - link below from where I got my answer.

Reply:Hi seedless grapes, cucumber, thats about it lol, I hate anything that has seeds or pips, but I like apples etc, as you can take the pips out, some oranges are dont have pips in either, I dont like strawberries or anything that is gritty, so I know how your friend feel, most vegetables dont have seed or pip I just dont like the taste of most veggies lol
Reply:bananas have tiny seeds (they're technically berries....don't ask), strawberies seeds are on the outside...erm.....unless they are produced to have no seeds (like seedless grapes) then there is no such thing, fruit is a food store to help the seeds grow (or in some cases to attract a bird to eat it then carry off the seed in its gut)

so yeah, unless it specifically says seedless then there is no fruit that doesn't have pips or seeds
Reply:One of the characteristics that determines that something is a fruit is that it has seeds or a pit, so you would have to get a special type of the fruit that has been made seedless.
Reply:Hi Pal ! I guess you could suggest eating of Bananas / Plantains to your fussy eater friend. I shall look for some more fruits %26amp; vegetables that would suit your friend and get back a.s.a.p.
