Best Fruit Pizza - cream cheese, marshmallow, or cool whip?

I'm going to make a fruit pizza for an outdoor family reunion. Which tastes best %26amp;/or which will hold up the best. I've heard of people mixing cream cheese %26amp; marshmallow, or cream cheese %26amp; cool whip, or just having one of these items - what do you think? Also, which fruits do you think will hold up the best or worst?

Best Fruit Pizza - cream cheese, marshmallow, or cool whip?
Cream Cheese with berries (strawberry, blueberry, black berry) and kiwi
Reply:cream cheese, cool whip, 1 cp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla...works as frosting or filling...tastes great. As for fruit...im not sure what fruit holds up best. good luck
Reply:cool whip definitely! i love berries, kiwi, and pears on fruit pizza
Reply:Cream cheese is definately the best. Never heard of mixing it with marshmellow or cool whip - that doesn't sound good. I like my fruit pizza topped with strawberries, kiwi, and pineapple

Episode: Housewarming

Crust:

1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened and sliced

Filling:

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping:

Fresh strawberries, kiwi slices, blueberries, raspberries

Glaze:

1 (6-ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Whipped cream, for garnish

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

For the crust: In a food processor, combine the confectioners' sugar, flour, and butter, and process until the mixture forms a ball. With your fingers, press the dough into a 12-inch tart pan with a removable bottom, taking care to push the crust into the indentations in the sides. Pat until the crust is even. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until very lightly browned. Set aside to cool.

For the filling and topping: Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until smooth. Spread over the cooled crust. Cut the strawberries into 1/4-inch slices and arrange around the edge of the crust. For the next circle, use kiwi slices. Add another circle of strawberries, filling in any spaces with blueberries. Cluster the raspberries in the center of the tart.

For the glaze: Combine the limeade, cornstarch, lime juice, and sugar in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until clear and thick, about 2 minutes. Let cool. With a pastry brush, glaze the entire tart. You will not use all of the glaze.

Keep the tart in the refrigerator. Remove about 15 minutes before serving. Slice into 8 wedges and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

I have made this many times its a big hit where ever I go

I do a 1/3 cup of triple sec to the filling

a tart pan cost about $8.00 -10.00 but your pizza pan should work fine also

Good Luck and enjoy

all you have to do is type in fruit pizza in a search engine...this is just one of many recepies...btw...sounds great!
Reply:Go with the cool whip, it is light and so good. You want to go with fruit that is not all mushy so I would go with strawberry's, peaches, and raspberry's and make sure that they are not all wet. You want to make it just before the reunion because it may make the crust soggy.
Reply:cream cheese is my favorite.
Reply:cool whil
