I've been bloated for the past couple of weeks, on and off. It's been getting really bad. So I was thinking, if I stuck to a fruit and vegetable diet for a week or two, would I clean out my system?
I'm thinking of eating a yogurt every morning, then eating only fruits and vegetables for the rest of the day. Maybe some garbanzo beans every now and then. Good idea or no?
Is there anything else I can do to clean out my system?
Strict fruit and vegetable diet?
you dont need to clean out your system -you have to make healthier food choices and eat balanced small meals every 2-3 hours (thats 5-6 small meals a day).
stay away from sodium, fried foods, junk food, sodas, sugar, cookies, candy etc.
drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
watch your fiber intake -it should be between 25-35g a day - if you get too much you will feel bloated. Fiber is intestinal "broom" -cleanses out your system all day, every day.
Reply:noooope you need a balanced diet....you need protein and grains and fibre and stuff.
lemon tea is very cleansing for the system....very yummy too!!
Reply:water water water! oh and eat eggs to and some nuts! you need your proteins and calcium so drink milk! do not drink sugary things such as coke or gatorade!
